The Launch of Irish Blogger Agency

The official launch of Irish Blogger Agency took place on the 25th September in the Double Tree by Hilton Dublin.  80 guests were greeted by Fashion & Lifestyle Blogger Clóda Scanlon, Orange Obviously and Beauty Blogger Ruth, The Beauty Kemple.  

The afternoon commenced with a beautiful reception of the finest quality organic specialty Solaris Tea complimented by delicious sweet treats from Issie's Handmade Chocolates.  Thank you so much to Caitriona and Issie for a wonderful spread of teas and chocolates.

The host for the afternoon was Sinéad Carroll, Founder & CEO of Irish Blogger Agency.  Sinéad gave an overview of what's in store for Irish Blogger Agency, The Academy and introduced "The Power Team".

Introducing Roger Tiger Burrows - Business & People Development

Roger is a sought-after motivational speaker and workshop leader on topics such as creating a vision, goal setting, leadership and building mental strength. Roger has joined Irish Blogger Agency Academy to deliver workshops in the areas of Business & People Development. 

Roger has worked with world-class leaders in high stress environments such as Military Operations in Afghanistan, Cyprus, and on UK emergencies.  Taking from his experiences as an Army Officer, learning from his best commanders and developing highly effective soldiers he can now design and deliver programmes to identify and develop leadership talent.

Guest Speaker - Kate Kelly

Award Winning Beauty & Fashion Blogger at PURE IRISH SUGAR and PR & Marketing for COCOA BROWN TAN spoke about how she got into the world of PR & Marketing and how blogging can improve your career.  

Kate shared with us how she makes time for everything, working full time in PR & Marketing and successfully blogging at not one but two blogs of her own?  And Kate also shared the benefits of becoming a member of Irish Blogger Agency and the opportunities and collaborations it brings. 

Introducing Joanne Sweeney-Burke - Digital Trainer

Joanne is am a former Journalist, PR Lecturer and CEO in various corporate roles.  Joanne has 14 years experience in media and business communications. Joanne is the founder, lead trainer and strategist at Digital Training Institute.  Her blog was named one of Ireland’s top marketing blogs in Ireland by US-based website Search Engine Journal.

Join has joined Irish Blogger Agency Academy and will deliver a number of workshops on Blogging For Business, Online Public Relations Strategy and Intermediary Social Media Marketing. 

Joanne is co-founder of EdTech startup Webiket.  She is a published author -‘Social Media Under Investigation, Law Enforcement and the Social Web’ - takes a forensic look at how police forces use social media.

Joanne is a regular guest speaker at national and international conferences including the 2015 SMILE (social media, the Internet and law enforcement) conference in Phoenix,  Arizona.  Joanne speak's on a range of subjects including social media, cyber bullying, police and social media, online reputation, digital marketing, the importance of education, business and motivational addresses.  Joanne has a dedicated blog on the subject of social media and law enforcement and at beta trial of an online school for police officers called LEO.

Joanne hold's 10 academic and professional qualifications including, a Masters Degree in Digital Marketing and a Masters Degree in Journalism.  Joanne is a regular guest speaker and media contributor and is also a writer for Social Media Examiner. She hold's a train the trainer qualification and a mentor qualification.  Joanne is also a former finalist in the TV Show, The Apprentice.  

Guest Speaker - The Galway Player

Award Winning Male Grooming & Fashion Blogger, Columnist and Radio Contributor The Galway Player spoke to us about the Power of Social Media.  He shared his knowledge and experience gained over the past six years on what social media good for, which social media platform is best, where's the ROI on social media and the pitfalls of social media.

Introducing Suzie Mahony - Creative Intelligence & Mentor

Suzie is Creative Manager and Owner of Suzie Mahony Designs.  She has 15 years experience in the Fashion Industry.  She is one of the longest established Milliners in Ireland dealing with clients at her studio near Loughrea. Multiple award winner for her innovative and creative work Suzie also won Businesswoman of the Year with Network Galway.  

Suzie has joined Irish Blogger Agency Academy and will deliver Time Management and Image Workshops throughout the country. 

Suzie has built up a wealth of knowledge and experience in the fashion industry in Ireland both through her many Millinery events, shows and dealing with the media. Her approach is practical, enthusiastic and hard working.  There is no design impossible as with her ethos on business and life.  Challenges are to be broken down and tackled head on to get the right results.

With her vast experience in styling clients for special occasions Suzie recognises the importance of one’s presentation.  First impressions count! Suzie has been a member and committee member of Network Galway for several years and was Guest Speaker on ‘Importance of Networking for Women’ for the Network Galway.

Professional food and travel blogger at LA CUOCHINA SOPRAFFINA Veruska spoke about how she turn her blog into a business with an impressive 1 million page views per month.  Veruska shared what blogging means to her and she shared her top tips to turn your blog into a full time job and what brands expect from you.   

Introducing Kayanne Horgan - Solicitor & Trademark Agent

Kayanne graduated from University College Galway with an Honours B.A. in Law and Economics in 1995. She then completed her LL.B. post graduate degree with Honours in 1998, spending a gap year with the law firm of Fox & Gibbons LL.P and Bryan Cave LL.P in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Kayanne is a qualified Irish Trade Mark Agent and European Trade Mark Agent registered with OHIM as well as a Personal Insolvency Practitioner. Kayanne also advises start-up companies and has joined Irish Blogger Agency Academy and will be delivering workshops in Business Incorporation Workshop, Intellectual Property Rights Workshop, Debt Collection Workshop and Asset Sale -v-s Company Sale Workshop.
